Is it bigger than a breadbox? Yes, and it's broken too
Dear Greg: I placed an order with Overstock.com at the end of April. The furniture arrived with several issues, the main one being what sounds like a broken spring. Several months, a dozen e-mails and several calls later, I still have broken furniture. They have blamed it on everything under the sun. The most recent line is that the broken spring was due to the humidity, which was normal under "these circumstances." I'm guessing because I live in Florida? One customer-service person offered me a $500 refund and a $200 credit for their Web site. The only thing is, I spent $2,500 on the furniture! Returning a couch is a real problem. Make sure whatever you order online isn't bigger than a breadbox!

WASHINGTON (AP) _ Wholesale inflation soared in July, leaving prices rising at the fastest pace in nearly three decades.
